Legendary Diego Maradona said Messi is in a class of his own, and believes firmly that second place is the best that Cristiano Ronaldo can hope to achieve in the coming years.
He took time out to outline the difference between the two players to an Argentine TV channel.

Both forwards are the clear favorites to win the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2012 after an impressive season at club level, yet Diego Armando Maradona feels Ronaldo is nowhere near his Argentine rival, Messi.
