LIVERPOOL AND CHELSEA JOSTLE FOT MOSES

Chelsea are looking to better their earlier bid by offering £6 million for Wigan forward Victor Moses after earlier reports appeared to have poured cold water on the deal. The Wigan player who has a year left on his contract rejected a £4 milion bid.

The former Crystal palace player would now have options to choose from as new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is now looking to bid for him. Rodgers was planning to make Gylfi Sigurdsson his first Anfield signing, but the Icelandic attacking midfielder now looks set to move to Tottenham.

The 21 year old Nigerian netted six times for Wigan last season and is comfortable playing on either flanks as  well as off the main striker.
