ASAMOAH GYAN BACK FROM INTERNATIONAL RETIREMENT

Al Ain star Asamoah Gyan to reverse his retirement from international football and play again for Ghana.
You will remember that in February this year he stated that he would be taking an 'indefinite break' from international selection, following abuse he received after Ghana's African Cup of Nations exit. But now the Ghanian has decided to come out of retirement.

He says the decision was made  with "the incredible support of my family, friends and the football family of Ghana."

The 26 year-old also pledged his commitment to the team "I am fully focused on our clear goals ahead, in helping my nation qualify for both the AFCON 2013 and the World Cup in 2014."
